Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, led GEG’s team members to visit the National Security Education Exhibition on its first public opening day.
On April 15, 2025, team members from Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) participated in the National Security Education Exhibition in Macau.
Marking the 10th National Security Education Day, the event is a significant initiative co-organized by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau.
The exhibition, under the national theme “The 10th Anniversary of National Security Education Day: Advancing Towards More In-depth & Effective Implementation,” presents seven sections that display the country’s achievements in advancing national security education over the past decade.
During the afternoon session, Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, led the group through the exhibition. With guidance from on-site docents and detailed audio explanations, team members explored various sections that illustrate a holistic approach to national security.
Moreover, to expand accessibility, the exhibition offers an online visitation platform. GEG promoted this digital platform via internal channels such as “GEG Buzz” and digital display screens across company premises, allowing team members to gain further insights into the importance of national security in daily life.
A participating team member remarked on GEG’s consistent efforts to share diverse information on national developments through multiple communication channels and activities.
The visit not only provided valuable educational insights but also reinforced the relevance of national security, inspiring participants to share this knowledge with colleagues, families, and friends.
Beyond this exhibition, GEG has a long-standing commitment to national education. Initiatives such as the “Sharing Session of the NPC and CPPCC” have engaged over 600 executives via on-site and online live broadcasts.
The company has also supported youth education through the “GEG Macau Cup – Youth National Education Competition” for 17 consecutive years and the GEG Youth Achievement Program (YAP) in collaboration with the Macau Management Association for 14 consecutive years.
In addition, GEG has been instrumental in promoting scientific talent via programs like the “Youth Science and Technology Village” and by sponsoring the inaugural “GEG Astronomy Cup – The 1st Macau International Youth Astronomy Competition.”
Through these initiatives, GEG solidifies its role as a patriotic enterprise deeply rooted in Macau’s development, encouraging a well-informed, security-conscious community.
