Sands China has been supporting the annual Macao International 10K, fully supporting and promoting the integrated development of sports tourism in Macao. The 10K was first held in Macao in 2021, with Sands China title-sponsoring the event each year. This year’s race saw an overwhelming response with nearly 10,000 runners from 48 countries and regions joining either the 10K race or the Fun Run.
Sands China was also a major sponsor of last year’s 70th anniversary Macau Grand Prix, in a bid to facilitate a group of competent young racers to enter the international stage while supporting Macao’s development into a world centre of tourism and leisure. Simultaneously, the company featured several time-limited community and cultural tourism events.
