Raymond Ho, Sands China’s vice president of VIP gaming operations, offers complimentary boxed lunches to taxi drivers Saturday at Sands Macao, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the hotel and entertainment complex.
Sands Macao is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and has carried out the annual tradition of offering complimentary meal packs to taxi drivers since its 2004 opening.
On Saturday, Sands China team members greeted taxi drivers arriving at Sands Macao at noon, handing out special meal packs featuring silky chicken soup with fish maw and Chinese herbs, Wok-fried beef short ribs with black pepper Maggi sauce, stir-fried shrimp and scallops with lettuce, steamed rice, Chinese birthday bun, and apple.
“As Sands Macao celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are proud to offer exceptional experiences to millions of guests each year, both local and from abroad,” said Dr. Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China Ltd. “Our gratitude goes to Macao’s fleet of taxi drivers for providing the essential service of safely transporting our guests to and from the hotel. May Macao continue to thrive and develop further as a world centre of tourism and leisure.”
This annual tradition dates back to the opening of the Sands Macao property in 2004.
