Austrian team ‘Autcom GmbH div Steyrfire Feuerwerke’ will take the stage at 9:00 pm on Saturday, with its ‘Made in Heaven’ fireworks show, an homage to deceased famous musicians. This will include late greats such as Freddy Mercury, Amy Winehouse, John Lennon, and Elvis Presley.
‘Our show is a homage to famous dead musicians which wrote music history. Jump on the bandwagon and join with us time travel visiting the highlights of music history,’ noted the Austrian team.
Meanwhile, Russia’s team ‘Pyrotechnics Yards of Peterhof’ will initiate its performance at 9:40 pm, with musical choices to fall on the country’s rich folk and classical musical heritage.
Classical music choices for the show include Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and Sergei Prokofiev, with folk music renditions of Russian traditional songs Kalinka, Bafoon, and Katyusha.
‘Classical music is majestic and chamber, strict and solemn […] Folk music is compared to an old necklace that may not be in fashion any more, but still holds sentimental value and connects us to our roots,’ the Russian fireworks team indicated.
‘Russia’s location on the border of Europe and Asia has influenced its culture and music. Two completely different worlds merged together and formed a new, unique musical culture.’
