The number of existing residential units transacted has decreased by 1.4 per cent in between April and June, with some 831 units, transacted, with transaction value falling by 1.6 per cent to MOP5.48 billion (US$679.2 million).
However, the transaction volume (47 units) and value (MOP302 million) of pre-sale residential units surged by 840 per cent and 1,018 per cent, respectively quarter-to-quarter.
During the same period the average price per square metre of existing residential units went up by 3.3 per cent quarter-to-quarter to MOP96,308, while the average price for pre-sale units grew by 10.3 per cent quarter-to-quarter to MOP139,806.
