A club from Arabia in the top 10 clubs that spent the most this transfer window

Two of the clubs reinforced themselves in the Portuguese market. Together, these teams have already spent almost 1.8 billion euros.

10.Real Madrid

At the bottom of the list is Real Madrid. The Spanish runner-up has bought just three players to date, one of whom, Jude Bellingham (103 million euros) is who puts the Madrilenians in the 10 clubs that spent the most until August 14.

Despite his 20 years, Bellingham already has a lot of experience at the service of Borussia Dortmund, where he spent three seasons as an undisputed starter.

Another big deal is that of Arda Guler, for 20 million euros. The 18-year-old Turkish prodigy was launched by Jorge Jesus at Fenerbahce and was being sought after by several top clubs, having opted for the Spanish formation to progress in his career.

Also joining this list is Fran García, former left-back for Rayo Vallecano. The 23-year-old cost Real Madrid 5 million.

In total, Real Madrid spent 128 million euros.

9.Bayern Munich

The German champions have never been apologists for spending a lot on the market, preferring to wait for opportunities with less weight in their coffers. However, after almost losing the championship to Dortmund – holding the cup only in the last game after the defeat in Borussia – the leaders decided to bet big.

Harry Kane is, without a doubt, the big signing in this market. The 30-year-old English forward arrives from Tottenham in exchange for 100 million euros, after extremely difficult negotiations. As is obvious, Tottenham intended to cash in a large enough amount to allow them to fill the gap left by the one who has been the Londoners’ great unlocker, along with Son.

Another big signing was Italy’s title-winning centre-back for Napoli, Min-Jae Kim. The 26-year-old South Korean central came for 50 million euros.

Raphael Guerreiro, a former Borussia Dortmund left-back, and Konrad Laimer, a former Leipzig midfielder, arrived in Munich at zero cost.

In total, Bayern Munich spent 150 million euros.

8. RB Leipzig

Hard to believe but Leipzig, third in the German league last season, have already spent more than Bayern Munich.
The Redbull-linked club has already signed six players. All of them under 23 years of age.

The most expensive was Luis Openda. The French forward arrives from Lens in exchange for 38.5 million euros. Also Castello Lukeba, a French centre-back from Lyon, cost over 30 million.

For the rest, Christoph Baumgartner (24 million), Benjamin Sesko (24 million), Nicolas Seiwald (20 million) and El Chadaille Bitshiabu (15 million) put Leipzig in 8th place in the ranking, releasing 151 million euros.

7. Newcastle United

After an extremely successful season, having won 4th place in the Premier League and consequently entering the Champions League, the English club does not seem to want to slow down.

Sandro Tonali, a 23-year-old Italian international midfielder, joined from AC Milan in exchange for 64 million euros. Harvey Barnes, a 25-year-old left-back, has moved from relegated Leicester City for €44m.

From Southampton arrives Tino Livramento. The 20-year-old right-back arrives in exchange for 37.5 million. The list closes with the signing of Yankuba Minteh, an 18-year-old winger from Denmark. Odense BK accepted 8 million to release the young Gambian.

In total, Newcastle United spent €153 million.

6.Al-Hilal SFC

Yes, the Arab championship is also starting to occupy its space in the football showcase, even hiring young promises or mature talents from European football.

Al-Hilal is one such example. The club coached by Jorge Jesus has already signed 26-year-old Brazilian winger Malcolm. The ex-Zenit player arrives for 60 million euros.

The Portuguese international midfielder, Rúben Neves, also succumbed to the Saudi fever. The midfielder left Wolverhampton for 55 million.

Milinkovic-Savic, Lazio’s creative midfielder, is also one of the other surprises. The 28-year-old was often linked with bigger flights, but he ended up staying with Lazio. However, 40 million euros was enough to unlock the deal.

Closing, we have Kalidou Koulibaly, the experienced 32-year-old centre-back. Chelsea, who also needed to release players, sold for 23 million euros.

In total, Al-Hilal has already spent 178 million euros, but it shouldn’t stop there. Jorge Jesus has already gone public to say that the leaders of the Saudi club plan to bring someone at the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema.

If this is confirmed, it is possible that Al-Hilal will move to the top of this list.

5.Manchester United

Few, but with quality. The Manchester club, which ended last season in third place, wants to at least advance a little further in the league table. For this, he decided to spend a lot, but on the right signings.

The biggest buy is Rasmus Holjund. The 20-year-old Danish forward has been compared to Halland and joins Atalanta for €75m. There are a lot of expectations placed on this player.

Second, Mason Mount, who is another victim of the “cleaning” of Chelsea’s locker room. The 24-year-old English creative midfielder arrives for €64.5 million.

Third and last, for now, is the arrival of the Cameroonian goalkeeper, André Onana. Inter Milan released the 27-year-old in exchange for 52.5 million.

In total, Manchester United has already spent 191.7 million euros.

4. Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester’s descent to the lower tier has not only benefited Newcastle. Tottenham is even able to win with the signing of James Maddison, one of the stars of the club. The creative midfielder arrived in exchange for 46.3 million euros.

The second most expensive signing is a face known to Portuguese fans, namely Sporting. Pedro Porro arrived in exchange for 40 million euros, after fulfilling a six-month loan, where Tottenham paid 5 million to the Lisbon club.

Micky van de Ven arrived from Wolfsburg in exchange for 40 million euros. Dejan Kulusevski (30 million), who was also at the London club on loan from Juventus.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario (20 million), striker Alejo Véliz (15

million) from Rosario Central, and center Ashley Phillips (2.3 million) close the list.

In total, Tottenham have already spent 193.6 million euros.

3.Chelsea

Chelsea is the only club in this ranking that has done more in sales than in signings.

Christopher Nkunku is a second French striker who arrives from Leipzing with an impressive relationship with goals. The 25-year-old international arrives in exchange for 60 million euros.

Alex Disasi, a 25-year-old French centre-back from Monaco, arrived in London for 45 million euros. Nicolas Jackson, the 22-year-old Senegalese striker, was one of Villarreal’s most influential players last season. He arrives in exchange for 37 million euros.

Lesley Ugochukwu, a 19-year-old French prospect, joins Rennes in exchange for 27 million euros. To replace Kepa, Robert Sánchez (23 million) arrives from Brighton. From Brazil comes Ângelo, the 18-year-old winger who started his career at Santos.

In total, Chelsea have already spent 207 million. However, it has already made 253.9 million in sales, with a positive balance of 46.9 million euros.

2. Paris Saint-Germain

As usual, PSG has been one of the clubs that has strengthened the most in this market.

In total, Paris Saint-Germain has already spent 209.5 million euros.

Gonçalo Ramos, a striker who arrives from Benfica, is not yet included in this exercise. The 22-year-old Portuguese comes on loan with a mandatory purchase of 65 million.

However, the highest amount paid by the French was also to a Portuguese club, namely Sporting, with the acquisition of Ugarte, in exchange for 60 million euros.

Dembelé followed, 50, and yet another French international, Lucas Hernández, for 45 million. The Korean Kang-in Lee closed the account for 22 million.

Between a few powders here and there, the bill then reached 209.5 million.

1. Arsenal

The champion of transfers, at least for now, knowing that there are still a few weeks left before the market closes, were the English side of Arsenal, looking to return to glory in the English championship.

The Londoners haven’t signed many players, but one of them has been the transfer champion so far, namely midfielder Declan Rice, who cost €116m from West Ham.

Havertz, from rival Chelsea, for 75 million euros, and Timber, from Ajax, for 40 million, were the other two signings of Arteta, Arsenal coach.

These three transfers cost just over €231 million.
