The Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, Mr Xia Baolong, today begins a four-day official visit to the Macao SAR. The visit comes about a month after he visited Hong Kong, where he met with government officials, legislators, representatives of central government bodies and leaders of local associations.
Xia Baolong today began an official visit to the Macao SAR, where he will remain until Friday, the Media Information Bureau (PSC) said yesterday. “The vice chairman of the 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CCPPC) and director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office with the State Council, Xia Baolong, will visit Macau from 23 to 26 May,” the Government announced.
