Juventus dominates in Turin derby with second-half comeback

Juventus prevailed today in the Turin derby, beating rival Torino, by 4-2, with a comeback, at the end of the 24th round of the Italian Football League.

At the Allianz Stadium, the visitors began the challenge, practically winning, thanks to the early goal scored by the Ivorian Yann Karamoh, just two minutes in, an advantage annulled by the Colombian Juan Cuadrado, at the 16th minute.

Equality would be undone again when the Paraguayan António Sanabria beat Szczesny, at 43 minutes, but the teams did not go to the break without Juve scoring again, this time for the former FC Porto Danilo, at 45+1.

After the rest period, Paulo Pogba made his debut on his return to the ‘Vecchia Signora’, after almost 11 months without playing an official match, with the home team moving to the top of the scoreboard for the first time, thanks to the goals from Brazilian center Bremer (71), who scored against the former team, and from Frenchman Adrien Rabiot (81).

Thus, Juve maintains the seventh position, with 35 points, the same as Bologna (eighth), while Torino is ninth, with 31.

Hours earlier, Roma were defeated by the ‘distressed’ Cremonese (2-1), who won their first victory in the competition, in a match in which the coach of the Romans, the Portuguese José Mourinho, was expelled.
