On Tuesday, PSG lost (1-) against Bayern Munich, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League, and after the match Kylian Mbappé referred that the players of the French team had to “eat and sleep well ” so that they could recover quickly and turn around the negative situation. There were those who interpreted the words as a hint at Neymar and the French striker wanted to clarify the matter.
“I saw that people were talking about Neymar, about what happened [the Brazilian participated in a poker tournament and had dinner at a fast food restaurant the day after the game]. It was not a hint for Neymar. In the current context, we need anything but hints. It’s just advice for everyone, because, as I said, when everyone is there, we saw that at the beginning of the game, the opponents have to worry about us. I hope Ney returns quickly, because he is a fundamental player for us”, he pointed out, speaking to Prime Video, after the 4-3 victory over Lille, on Sunday.
On social media, Mbappé also left a message of support for Neymar, who was injured in the Ligue 1 match. “Stay strong. The whole team looks forward to seeing you soon. Let’s go, brother ”, he wrote on social networks.
