Taiwan’s Ministry of Mainland Affairs yesterday announced the lifting of all travel restrictions for tourists arriving from Macau and Hong Kong from Monday. Online channels to apply for entry authorization are once again available, as before the pandemic.
After three years of border restrictions imposed by the fight against the pandemic, Taiwan will once again receive tourists from Macau and Hong Kong from next Monday, February 20th. The news of the lifting of restrictions for people coming from special administrative regions was announced yesterday at a press conference by Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of Mainland Affairs, Liang Wen-chieh.
