Tom Brady announces withdrawal from NFL “for good”

Tom Brady, one of the best players ever in the North American Football League (NFL), announced this Wednesday the end of his “forever” career, after 23 years at the highest level, in which he won seven times the Super Bowl.

“Good morning everyone. I’ll cut to the chase, I’ll retire forever,” said the quarterback in a video posted on social media.

Tom Brady, 45, spent 20 years with the New England Patriots, winning six NFL championships during that time. In 2020 he signed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team he played for the last three seasons and in which he won his last Vince Lombardi trophy.

“I want to thank everyone who supported me. To my family, my friends, teammates and opponents. Thank you everyone for letting me live my dream, I wouldn’t change a thing”, he said.
