Eurozone GDP growth slows in Q3 to 2.3%

In the European Union as a whole, GDP showed year-on-year growth of 2.5% and quarterly growth of 0.4%. In both cases, a slowdown was recorded.

The euro zone’s year-on-year gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed in the third quarter to 2.3% from 4.2% in the same period of 2021, according to an estimate released Wednesday by Eurostat.
