Russia will continue to strengthen ties with China, India, Iran and Turkey

Russia will continue to strengthen its ties with China, India, Iran, Turkey and other countries that “value their sovereignty” and “reject Russophobia”, a Kremlin adviser said on Tuesday.

“The reality is that over the past decade, in addition to the traditional interaction with Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) partners, Russia has maintained strong and friendly relations with China, strengthened cooperation with India, Vietnam, Indonesia and other states of the Southeast Asia,” said Kremlin International Affairs Adviser Yuri Ushakov.

At the “Primakov Readings” debate forum, Ushakov added that ties are also intensifying with “Middle East countries, Iran, Turkey, the Arab world and the entire Muslim world in general”.
