No authorization yet for Mainland tour groups

Macau has not yet officially received authorisation for the resumption of tours from China.

According to the Macau Government Tourism Office director, Helena Senna Fernandes, Macau operators are prepared for the start, but authorization is lacking.

She also noted that the recent outbreaks in Guangdong province also affect the restart of tours, which was announced at the end of September by the Chief Executive. At the time, Ho Iat Seng admitted that the tours and the issuing of electronic visas could restart in November.
