The United Nations promises to continue working tirelessly with the Executive and the National Assembly to ensure the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda, whose global action plan includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets, created to eradicate poverty and promote a dignified life for citizens.
The promise was made yesterday, in Luanda, to the press, by the representative of the United Nations System in Angola, Zahira Virani, at the end of the audience that was granted by the president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, at the headquarters of Parliament.

“The National Assembly can count one hundred percent on the support of the United Nations System and all agencies working in Angola, for the improvement of the social and economic conditions of Angolans, in the framework of the fulfillment of Agenda 2030,” said the UN representative in Angola, who valued the role of the National Assembly in this process.
