Technology: Brazilian Institute and Taiwan University Study 6G

The National Yang Ming Chiao Tuang University (NYCU), Taiwan, announced the signing of an agreement with the National Institute of Telecommunications (Inatel) of Brazil to develop sixth-generation (6G) mobile technology.

In a statement released on Tuesday, NYCU revealed that the agreement aims to focus on the development of open source technology, or open source, that anyone could use and modify. The cooperation with Inatel will involve a group of around 20 researchers from NYCU, who will also analyze the possible impact of 6G on ethical issues and the development of society.
