Ukrainian authorities said that three attacks hit electrical installations in Kiev on Tuesday, a day after drone attacks in the Ukrainian capital, which left at least four dead.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy chief of staff to the Ukrainian president, said on social media that the attacks hit an “energy supply facility on the left bank of Kiev”. According to Reuters, citing local officials, this morning’s attacks left two dead.
Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko reports reports of explosions in the Desnyanskyi district, northeast of the capital, after “critical infrastructure” was hit.
The mayor of the capital confirmed that some areas of the city are without electricity and appealed to the population to reduce energy consumption and to store drinking water.
