The president of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, has signed a government decree establishing exceptional measures to support families to mitigate the effects of inflation
According to a note published on the official website of the Presidency of the Republic, Rebelo de Sousa has also signed a government decree that allows the end customers twith annual consumption of less than or equal to 10,000 m3 to o return natural gas suppliers of last resort.
This note was released by the presidency when Prime Minister António Costa was still finishing the presentation of these and other measures at a press conference at the National Palace of Ajuda, in Lisbon, after an extraordinary cabinet meeting.
Before presenting them publicly, the prime minister went to Palácio de Belém to present the measures to the president.
