Dubai royal family wants to invest in Angola

The president of the MBM group, an investment holding linked to the Dubai royal family, Sheik Mohammed bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, Tuesday in Luanda, expressed interest in investing in the Agriculture and Health sectors.

The member of the Dubai ruling family made the intention known to the press, without going into details, at the end of the audience granted by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, at the Presidential Palace. “We hope to count on some opportunities that the country offers in the areas of agriculture and health, in such a way that we can move forward for the development of the country,” stressed the investor.

Mohammed bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, who is visiting Angola for the first time, highlighted the po-tenentialities in several areas. The president of the MBM group did not reveal the amount he intends to apply, but stressed that the will expressed by President João Lourenço and the way he was welcomed by the Angolan people, encourage him to think of more projects in the near future.

“In monetary terms, I don’t have, yet, specific numbers to advance. This depends on my team, which will do its work, but I can guarantee that these numbers will be known soon,” he assured. For now, he continued, the planning work that will take the aforementioned project forward is underway.
