Brazilian governors have failed to keep more than half of their promises

The next elections are approaching and many mandates are coming to an end. In a survey conducted by the website G1, the governors do not appear with good numbers, fulfilling just under half of the promises made in the 2018 election campaign.

The survey shows that 39 percent of the 1157 promises made by the then-candidates have come off the paper. The study showed actions taken between January 1, 2019 and June 30, 2022, that is, three and a half years of government.
