Bolsonaro’s government will have kept only 36 percent of its promises

After three and a half years in office, President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) has fulfilled about one out of every three promises made during the 2018 election campaign, according to a survey conducted by the G1 website.

In his first campaign for president, Bolsonaro signed 58 commitments. Soon after, he was elected for the term as chief executive and fulfilled only 21, or 36 percent of the total.

The data surveyed by the publication show that 16 percent of the promises were only partially fulfilled. Promises still unfulfilled, meanwhile, amount to 48 percent, almost half of those made in 2018.
