Brazil records 292 deaths and more than 65,000 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24h

Brazil notified 65,080 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, 14. The moving average of positive tests, which eliminates distortions between weekdays and weekends, stood at 54,238, below the one recorded the day before and representing a six percent drop from two weeks ago. Despite the decrease, the country continues since the 24th with the index above 50,000.

The country has also registered 292 new deaths from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The daily average of deaths in the last week is 246, above the one calculated the day before, and there are 17 days with stability above 200.

São Paulo registered 74 deaths and 8.6 thousand new cases in the last 24 hours. The state with the highest number of positive tests in the period was Minas Gerais, which reported 8.7 thousand infections on Thursday. Only Tocantins is still not releasing the updated balance of the pandemic.
