The Champalimaud Foundation and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – an autonomous organization linked to the United Nations – have announced that, through a partnership, they will work together in the development of research, treatment and diagnosis of oncological diseases.

“We believe that gains for science and for the treatment of people with cancer disease will result from this partnership. The development of knowledge is a collaborative process and we are proud to establish this agreement with a global reference institution,” says Leonor Beleza, president of the Champalimaud Foundation, quoted in a statement.
