At the age of 94, the former head of state was forced to leave a message to Senegalese people, through his official Facebook page, ensuring that he is alive and well.
“After the announcement of my death on the RFI website, following an informatic error, I want to ensure that I am in great shape. It is not given to everyone to be able to know of his death during his life. I take this opportunity to reiterate how important it is to check your sources before sharing information”, said the former president of Senegal.
