At London’s Westminster Cathedral, Isabel dos Santos asked God for strength so that Sindika Dokolo’s family and friends would overcome her death.
The daughter of the ex-president of Angola walked the central nave of the cathedral alone behind the coffin, to the sound of Avé Maria, for the celebration of the goodbye mass, where only the family closest to Dokolo, namely the widow, the children, joined and the brothers.
It was during the ceremony that Isabel dos Santos, in a short religious intervention, also asked for the protection of her husband’s soul. The voice failed, but Isabel dos Santos always maintained her posture.
The couple’s daughter and sister also paid tribute to the relative. The entrepreneur and art collector, born in Congo, lost his life at the age of 48, on October 29, while diving in Dubai, due to a pulmonary embolism, according to the African press.
