Investment for golden visas fell by 52% in October, year-on-year, to €28.6 million, according to accounts made by Lusa based on Foreigner and Border Service (SEF) statistics.
In October, investment resulting from the granting of golden visas, as the Residence Authorisation for Investment (ARI) programme is also known, which turned eight last month, amounted to €28.68 million, a drop of 52% compared to the same period in 2019 (€59.9 million euros).
Compared with September (€43.5 million), the drop was 34%.
In October, 54 golden visas were granted, 48 of which were for the purchase of real estate (13 for urban renewal) and six for the transfer of capital.
