Democratic White House candidate Joe Biden acknowledged on Friday that he has not yet won the November 3 presidential election, but the numbers indicate that he will have a “clear and convincing victory.”
“It is time to unite,” said Barack Obama’s former vice president, in a brief speech in Wilmington, in the northeastern state of Delaware, while the final results of Tuesday’s poll remain unclear.
“We must overcome cholera,” he added, promising to work, starting from the “first day” at the White House to combat the covid-19 pandemic, which has already caused a total of more than 236 thousand deaths and more than 9, 7 million cases in the country.
