At stake are scenes of alleged nudity and unusual physical contact.
The female wing of the Progressive Party of Goa filed a complaint against a Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey for allegedly recording an obscene video at the Chapoli dam in that Indian state.
Another indictment complaint was also filed against an unidentified person at the Canacona police station for having allegedly ordinary video recording with the actress.
“Based on the complaint filed by the works division of the Water Resources Department, a criminal complaint was registered. The police are investigating, along with others obtained, as the investigation will continue, ”Pankaj Kumar Singh, Goa Police superintendent, told local media, revealing that the actor who acted with Poonam was also summoned.
Durgadas Kamat, vice president and spokesman for the Progressive Party of Goa, approved a situation to demand the resignations of both the Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, and the Minister of Water Resources, Filipe Neri Rodrigues.
“Poonam Pandey’s video went viral in Goa. It was filmed at the Chapoli Dam in Canacona, a highly protected area owned by the Goa government’s Department of Water Resources. The Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) is the one who usually issues compliance for filming in Goa. Now, the Chief Minister is the president of ESG. I think that the government led by Pramod Sawant is promoting Goa as a pornography destination, which brings bad reputation to the state and the country ”, accuses Kamat.
The response leader also said that the “pornographic” video circulated on social media, having gone viral, raises serious questions about the safety of highly vulnerable places like dams, where any carelessness can cause a disaster.
Pandey was recently in the news for breaking up and reconciling with her husband Sam Bombay, all within 10 days. The couple traveled to Goa in an atmosphere of romance, but also with professional commitments.
However, after reaching the former Portuguese colony, Pandey filed a complaint against Bombay for physically assaulting her. The husband was even arrested. Pandey communicated to the media that his marriage was over, but the comeback was about to arrive. Days later, he said he forgave him and that the couple decided to move on.
