The President of the Republic of Brazil, elected on October 28, 2018, perplexed the country and, at times, the world, by statements about the economy, foreign policy, health, other powers, his ministers, his own family and even sex. And we are still in the middle of the first term

It was thought that the unusual phrase, said four months after his election regarding a sexual practice that President of the Republic had been aware in a Carnival video during those days, it was unsurpassed. Nothing like that. Then he said many more, much to the shock and amazement of Brazil and, at times, the world – but, in many cases, to pride himself on his persistent support base.
More and more at ease in office, Bolsonaro began to claim the fame of an outspoken politician – his allies prefer to call him “spontaneous” or “genuine” – conquered in 28 years as a parliamentarian of very low clergy but very high profile, that is, little respected in the National Congress but very much coveted by humorous entertainment programs.
