Water has been found on the surface of the Moon that is illuminated by the Sun. The next step is to find out if the liquid is drinkable and can help in space missions.
NASA released this Monday the “exciting” discovery of the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA), which since 2018 was looking for water on the Moon. The next step in the investigation is to find out if the water is drinkable and if it can be used as a natural resource, as it does on Earth.
