The Spanish Government today decreed the curfew in Madrid as of this weekend, after Spain registered a new record of infections. Almost 21,000 new cases this Thursday
From midnight until 6 am all gatherings are prohibited, which are already limited to six people during the day. Bars and restaurants can only accept customers until 11 pm, says the television SIC Notícias website.
The autonomous community with the highest number of infections in Spain is thus trying to drastically reduce social activity in the capital region, at a time when the exceptional measures enacted two weeks ago by the government of Pedro Sanchez end this Saturday at noon.
