With the resumption of the economy, refineries also perform well
Despite the pandemic, which led to a reduction in global oil consumption, Petrobras’ production grew 9% in the first three quarters of 2020, reaching the mark of 2.839 million barrels of oil and natural gas. The company also expanded fuel production in Brazil.
In the third quarter, the increase in production was 5.4%, the company said. In a report released on Tuesday (20), the state-owned company says that the performance “was very good, considering the challenging scenario imposed by the pandemic of Covid-19”.
