The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve has already sold almost 30 thousand tickets for the days when Formula 1 will be held. At this point sales are at a standstill and the organization is waiting to see if the General Directorate of Health will allow the sale of a few more tickets. . But if so, there won’t be more than a thousand. “We are talking about about 1/3 of the circuit’s occupation”, assures the Autódromo director. Paulo Pinheiro recalls that there is a public area of about seven linear kilometers, and makes a comparison: “A football field is only 400 meters long, to get an idea of the dimension”.
The person in charge of Autódromo do Algarve recalls that tickets to attend the three days of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, between 23 and 25 October, were sold online. The cheapest costs 35 euros and the most expensive 650, with 11 different price levels.
