Study found ‘extremely robust’ virus on surfaces kept at room temperature
The virus responsible for Covid-19 can remain infectious on surfaces such as money bills, cell phone screens and stainless steel for up to 28 days, say researchers.
The discovery by Australia’s national scientific agency suggests that SARS-Cov-2 can survive on surfaces for much longer than previously thought.
