Generals Leopoldino do Nascimento “Dino” and Hélder Vieiras Dias Júnior “Kopelipa” will be heard, on Tuesday, by the National Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Action. There are strong indications that they benefited from the business that the State had with the company China International Fund (CIF)
The information was given yesterday to Jornal de Angola, by a PGR source, who confirmed that Generals Dino and Kopelipa were notified and constituted defendants. “Yes, Generals Dino and Kopelipa were notified and constituted defendants. They will be heard in this condition to be applied the respective measures of coercion (criminal) ”, he said.
The PGR source said that generals Leopoldino do Nascimento – former head of Communications for ex-President José Eduardo dos Santos – and Hélder Vieira Dias Júnior, former Minister of State and head of the Military House (now Casa de Segurança), also in José Eduardo dos Santos, will have benefited from the contracts that the State signed with CIF, within the scope of the extinct National Reconstruction Office.
