The Germans of Bayern Munich won the European Super Cup for the second time by defeating the Spaniards of Seville by 2-1, after extra time, in a match played in Budapest, Hungary, with supporters already in the stands.
The Spanish team, coached by ex-FC Porto coach Julen Lopetegui and who won the Europa League, took the lead in the 13th minute, a penalty converted by Lucas Ocampos, but the European champion managed to draw at 34, through Goretzka.
The game went on for extra time, with those led by Hans-Dieter Flick taking the lead at 104, with a goal by Javi Martinez, in a game that already had an audience in the stands of Arena Puskas, although limited to 30%, due to the pandemic of covid-19.
