US Open winner gives up Roland Garros

Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka, who won the last US Open, announced that she will not play in the Roland-Garros tournament next week due to muscle problems.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play Roland-Garros this year. My thigh is not yet recovered and I don’t have time to prepare for the beaten earth ”, wrote the 22-year-old athlete on the social network Twitter.

“These two tournaments are very close to each other,” added number three in the world ranking.
