Neil Young sued the president and musicians use new tactic so that politicians don’t use their compositions without permission
On election day 2018, Neil Young published a message complaining about President Trump.
Three years earlier, Trump had used “Rockin ‘in the Free World”, a song by Young in protest against injustice, when announcing his campaign, which aroused the musician’s ire.
