China has now reached 25 consecutive days without registering local Covid-19 infections, as the seven cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours all come from abroad, the authorities said.
The China Health Commission detailed that the imported cases were diagnosed in the municipality of Shanghai and in the province of Guangdong, which borders Macau and Hong Kong.
The authorities also reported that, in the last 24 hours, 11 patients were discharged, so the number of infected people active in the Asian country stood at 161, including two in a condition considered serious.
