The United States recorded 316 deaths and 34,766 infected in the past 24 hours, according to an independent count from Johns Hopkins University.
With this daily balance, the USA raised the number of deaths to 183,034 and that of confirmed cases to 5,993,668.
Although New York is no longer the state with the highest number of infections, it remains the one with the most deaths, surpassing France or Spain.
