Explanations about the return of the contingency state: “a set of new rules”
At the end of the Council of Ministers meeting, the Minister of State Mariana Vieira da Silva, announced the return of Portugal to the contingency state, starting on September 15. “We can, as in other matters, act preventively, as we did in the fires, in the face of a change in habits, with the return to classes and work”.
“The arrival of colder weather and autumn would bring new challenges in this pandemic”, explains the minister.
Measures will be worked on in the coming days, reinforces the Minister of State. “What we have in mind is a set of new rules”.
