Austrian police arrested a man as part of an investigation after several anti-Semitic attacks in Graz, including an assault and acts of vandalism, a spokesman told APA news agency on Sunday.
The prisoner is suspected of attacking the president of the local Jewish community and of throwing stones and graffiti in a synagogue.
Interior Ministry sources told APA that the suspect confessed to his involvement. Details of his identity were not released.
On Wednesday, the synagogue appeared full of pro-Palestinian graffiti.
