178 Macao students are studying at Portuguese universities that will postpone their return to Portugal due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The information was advanced by the Directorate of Higher Education Services (DSES) to TDM-Rádio Macau.
The number results from the online registration of students with DSES. Young people are enrolled in 14 Portuguese universities and say they are concerned with “the preventive measures” implemented by the educational institutions where they continue their studies and with “the lack of means” to return to Portugal.
