Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko called doubts about the vaccine against the new coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2) approved in the country last Tuesday (11) as “absolutely unfounded”.
The candidate “Sputnik V” (in reference to the first artificial satellite on Earth) obtained registration in Russia even before beginning the third and final phase of clinical studies, considered the most important and in which its effectiveness in immunizing human beings is evaluated.
“It seems that foreign colleagues are feeling the competitive advantages of the Russian medicine and are trying to express certain absolutely unfounded opinions,” said Murashko.
