Colombian President Iván Duque said today that it is “necessary and fundamental” that the businessman Alex Saab, alleged forehead of the Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro, be extradited to the United States of America by Cape Verde.
“It is necessary and fundamental that all the obscure links of the Venezuelan dictatorship to drug trafficking, money laundering and a very large criminal network can be revealed,” said the Colombian President, in an interview with the National Radio of Colombia, quoted by the agency Efe .
On August 4, the Barlavento Court of Appeal in Cape Verde decided to extradite Alex Saab to the United States of America (USA), but the defense announced that it will appeal the decision.
