A Chinese naval company BOMESC Offshore Engineering Co Ltd has announced that it will build a Brazilian state-owned oil platform platform Petrobras.
BOMESC revealed on Monday that Petrobras has ordered a floating production, storage and transfer unit for the Búzios pre-salt field, in the Santos basin.
In a statement sent to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, a BOMESC says that it has signed a contract with the Japanese platform builder MODEC Inc to assemble the upper module and the chemical injection system.
