Decision announced this Monday by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS).
This Monday is a happy day for the Manchester City of Bernardo Silva and João Cancelo, who saw the appeal submitted to the Arbitration Court for Sport approved and can therefore participate in the Champions League.
UEFA had imposed a two-year suspension on the English club in European competition, as well as a € 30 million fine, for non-compliance with financial fair play rules. The decision of the TAD, known on the morning of Monday, determined the lifting of this suspension and reduction of the fine to 10 million euros, considering that the “citizens” did not cooperate with the body that oversees European football.
