The absence of political responses to the problems that sport faces due to the covid-19 pandemic is “what most concerns” the Portuguese Olympic Committee (COP), said today the president of the Portuguese Olympic movement.
In a debate promoted by the Confederation of Sports of Portugal on the future of sport in the ‘covid-19 era’, José Manuel Constantino recalled that “as important as the work that the federations have been doing is getting a response from public authorities” and that this answer “Is not in line” with that which most European countries “are giving to their organizations”.
