Brazil recorded 1,254 deaths and 45,305 infected by the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with the Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, entering the country’s statistics, after being diagnosed with covid-19 today.
The data were released today by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, which added that the country now totals 66,741 deaths and 1,668,589 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic, officially registered in the country on February 26.
The lethality rate of covid-19 in Brazil remains today at 4%, when 976,977 infected patients have recovered and 624,871 patients are still being monitored.
