Animation producers followed the decision of other series after demonstrations by Black Lives Matter
Producers of the long-running animation “The Simpsons” announced this week that they will reshape their voice cast – from now on, white actors will no longer be responsible for voicing characters belonging to other ethnicities.
The announcement came just days after other American animation series announced that they are going to make changes with a view to expanding diversity. This was the case with “Family Guy”, “Central Park” and “Big Mouth”, for example.
